Chris Foerster has resigned his position from the Miami Dolphins hours after a video surfaced showing the team’s offensive line coach snorting a white powdery substance off what is believed to be his desk at the team’s training facility.
Foerster, in his 25th NFL season, agreed Monday morning to move on from his job rather than be fired, per team sources.
“I am resigning from my position with the Miami Dolphins and accept full responsibility for my actions,” Foerster said in a statement released by the team. “I want to apologize to the organization and my sole focus is on getting the help that I need with the support of my family and medical professionals.”
The video came to light from a Las Vegas model named Kijuana Nige, who said she released it for social injustice. She is also described as a stripper by Black Sports Online. There are a lot of questions here, but she wrote her Facebook account (a post now deleted), “I don’t do this often, but .. since this is NFL Sunday let’s talk about these coaches folks. Introducing Christopher Foerster Miami Dolphins line coach … Hey honey are you still high.”
She also sent the reason she said she released the video:
“The white people mad at me like I forced blow down this man’s nose and like I recorded it on that low. No those are his habits and he recorded himself and sent it to me professing his love. So quick to make excuses for him but will roast a minority player over an anthem, dog fights, weed, domestic issues etc. But y’all keep saying ALL LIVES MATTER STFU.”
